COMPANY BACKGROUND

Makerere University Holdings Limited (the Company) is the corporate entrepreneurial arm of Makerere University (the University), tasked with managing all of the University’s commercial interests. The Company facilitates the University’s engagement with both the private sector and government.
In accordance with the Company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association, its primary objective is ``To act as an entrepreneur on behalf of Makerere University, identifying new opportunities for economic investment and pursuing such investments in a manner that is not detrimental to the Company’s interests and contributes to the continued development of Makerere University.``
